Reflection: During my time doing my observation at Harnett elementary school I worked with another student from SUNY Cortland as we were both doing our observations together. We collaborated on different lesson plans, unit plans, and even the curriculum project. I know that this experience will help me out in the future as an educator because collaboration is a big part of teaching so to understand how it works will only help benefit me.

Date: Winter 2011
Reflection: During winter break I had the opportunity to observe in two different school districts. Both were awesome experiences for me. They included 30 hours at a middle school level and 30 hours at the high school level. I gained great understanding about the role of different teachers in the school and learned how teachers spend their day first hand.
